Dance

I enjoy photographing weddings, but photographing dancing is a matter of the heart. And swing especially.

In 2015, I started swing dancing. I attended social dances and then to expand my portfolio I took a camera with me. Then once again and suddenly I became the official photographer of the Swing Wings Brno dance school. So in the middle of 2016, I became a swing dance photographer. And I fell for it. It started small with photographing events in Brno, next they invited me to Prague. It went on with most of the big swing dance events in the Czech Republic. The borders didn’t stopped me when they invited me abroad.

At the beginning of 2019, I set my goal to become one of the best swing dance photographers in Europe. I made my name at big swing events in France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, and other countries. I’ve been working with the world’s best dancers. By the end of the year, I was the main photographer at Snowball, one of the biggest swing dance festivals in the world.

The reason why I love it so much is quite simple. The enjoyment of the dancers. To watch the dancers feel the band, live through the dance, laugh, and have fun is everything. No matter if they have been dancing for 20 years or only for half a year.
